Spiced Hummus

Ingredients:

Love chickpeas, this is for you! We use all three of our products In this incredible simple hummus, the texture from the crunchy fennel is awesome, dip veggies, nachos or your fingers.

1 x tin of chickpeas

1 x garlic clove

4 x  heaped teaspoons tahini

1 x lemon

30ml infused oil

20ml hot sauce

finishing salt & pepper to season

Method:

  1. Drain the chickpeas, keeping the juice to one side, add 90% of the chickpeas into a food processor. Save the  remaining 10% which you’ll add to the finished hummus
  2. To the food processor add, half of the chick pea juice, garlic, lemon juice, hot sauce, tahini and a pinch of salt. Blend this for a few minutes until you have a silkily smooth consistency, if its to try add some oil / chickpea juice.
  3. Add the oil and additional seasoning with finishing salt & black pepper, mix through your smooth hummus and add the remaining chickpeas (don’t blitz again as you don’t want to lose the texture. Once happy with the flavour chill your hummus in the fridge.
  4. Garnish wish some infused oil & cayenne pepper.
